Yoga Mat Spray
A natural yummy smelling yoga mat spray. This spray is a blend of natural Witch Hazel cleaning base, mixed with lavender essential oil and a clear crystal pebble added for extra energy cleansing.
Lavender
Lavender essential oil is one of the most popular and versatile essential oils used in aromatherapy. Distilled from the plant Lavandula angustifolia, the oil promotes relaxation and is probably best known for its calming or sleep inducing effects. Lavender carries a scent that’s a wonderful blend of fresh, floral, clean, and calm. It is also believed to treat anxiety, fungal infections, allergies, depression, insomnia, eczema, nausea, menstrual cramps and promote wound healing. Lavender oil is believed to have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties, which can help to heal minor burns and bug bites.
Witch Hazel
Witch Hazel is produced from the leaves and bark of the Witch Hazel plant found in North America (Hamamelis Virginiana) and was widely used as an herbal medicine s by Native Americans. When distilled and combined with alcohol, the aromatic oil extracted from the bark of the Witch Hazel shrub makes a soothing and mildly astringent lotion.
Along with its anti-inflammatory properties, you can use Witch Hazel as a mild disinfectant for cuts or scrapes thanks to the natural grain alcohol that appears in most brands you can buy over the counter! The presence of this natural alcohol is one reason Witch Hazel is a more gentle astringent than rubbing alcohol.
When blended with water WItch Hazel can be used as a household cleaner and this is how this spray was made for your mat!
Clear Quartz
Enhances psychic abilities. It aids concentration and unlocks memory. Stimulates the immune system and brings the body into balance. Clear Quartz (Crystal Quartz, Rock Crystal) harmonises all the chakras and aligns the subtle bodies.
How to Use
A few sprays on your mat after each use (or when you think it needs refreshing), will leave it clean and smelling good for the next time you roll it for your practice!
Note: Although this product is natural and shouldn’t cause any issues, best to test a corner of your mat to see if there’s any adverse reaction before applying fully.
Happy spraying!
